As I already mentioned about the lady tourists wearing yugata wandering around town in my previous blog, obviously I could not resist the temptation myself, and along with my Japanese friend I decided to rent a kimono for the day and wander around the temples feeling like a Japanese girl from the Edo era.
Our mission today is Momijigari 「紅葉狩り」or The maple tree hunting. It is a Japanese tradition in autumn to go out looking for the red maple leaves mostly in the parks or temples. I believe Japanese love to enjoy each season at its best like Cherry blossom in Spring for example.
และแล้วก็มาถึงวันนี้ที่รอคอย วันที่เราจะได้แปลงร่างเป็นสาวญี่ปุ่นอย่างสมบูรณ์แบบครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิต ได้ใส่ชุดกิโมโนตามธรรมเนียมตั้งแต่หัวจรดเท้า ออกไปเดินชมใบไม้แดงในสวนสวยอย่างที่ฝันไว้ ชาวญี่ปุ่นเรียกช่วงเวลาแห่งนี้ว่า Momijigari 「紅葉狩り」หรือการออกไปชื่นชมความงามของใบไม้เปลี่ยนสีในฤดูใบไม้ร่วง จะเห็นได้ว่าชีวิตของพวกเขาให้ความสำคัญและผูกพันอยู่กับธรรมชาติเป็นอย่างมากค่ะ
We visited Rurikoin 「瑠璃光院」the Buddhist temple, an ancient wooden building surrounded by beautiful trees of many colours. A wooden table is smartly placed to reflect the shapes of the nature outdoor, it appears as a casual detail which made me impressed by their quest for perfection. The ideal place to pose for some pictures and enjoy the peaceful vibe of this quintessentially Japanese place.
จุดหมายแรกของเราออกไปไกลจากศูนย์กลางเมืองเกียวโตเล็กน้อย Rurikoin 「瑠璃光院」วัดพุทธเก่าแก่ที่มีวิวสวนสวยติดอันดับท๊อปของเกียวโต ในช่วงฤดูใบไม้ร่วงเขาจะเปิดให้เข้าชมเพียงสองเดือน คือตั้งแต่ต้นเดือนตุลาคมจนถึงประมาณกลางเดือนธันวาคม และมีการจำกัดจำนวนคนต่อวัน จุดเด่นของที่นี่คือ โต๊ะไม้ขนาดใหญ่ที่วางอยู่กลางห้องโถงซึ่งสะท้อนเงาของใบไม้หลากสีจากสวนด้านนอก เป็นภาพสะท้อนที่ดูงดงามแปลกตา บรรดาเหล่าช่างภาพมืออาชีพจากทั่วโลกจึงมักจะดั้นด้นมาเก็บภาพที่นี่
Certainly a more crowded affair was the visit to the Golden Temple: Kinkaku-Ji 「金閣寺」 , a well known site that attracts many tourists. Yet the gardens and the shiny building are so overwhelmingly adorable that it is easy to forgive the crowds and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the place. A small tea house within the gardens gives the visitors a chance to taste true Japanese flavours in a very zen-like setting.
และที่พลาดไม่ได้อย่างแน่นอนคือวัดคินคะคุจิสีทองอร่าม ที่เราต่างได้ยินชื่อมานมนานจากการ์ตูนเรื่องอิคคิวซัง Kinkaku-Ji 「金閣寺」 ในช่วงเวลานี้หนีไม่พ้นจำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวที่ล้นหลาม แต่ความงดงามของวัดสีทองวับวาวกลางบ่อน้ำที่โอบล้อมไปด้วยสวนญี่ปุ่นไล่โทนสีเหลือง-แดงนั้นกลับทำให้เรารู้สึกอิ่มเอมใจและสงบเงียบอย่างบอกไม่ถูก ที่นี่ยังมีร้านขายขนมและชาเขียวมัทฉะรสเข้มข้นตำรับเกียวโตในบรรยากาศสวนเซ็นญี่ปุ่น บอกได้คำเดียวว่า “ห้ามพลาด” ค่ะ
Just nearby my Japanese friend took me to try some local snack: Aburi mochi, the grilled sticky rice cake. I can never resist local delicacies and very few countries are as good as Japan when it comes to stimulating my senses. The small street behind Imamiya shrine 「今宮神社」is where traditional restaurants specialized in Aburi mochi lined up. Having a delish local sweet with hot green tea in the old house is the best way to end our beautiful Japanese customs day.
ตะลอนๆมาทั้งวัน ฮิโรโกะเพื่อนสาวชาวญี่ปุ่นจึงชวนไปหาขนมอร่อยดั้งเดิมของเกียวโตทานเป็นการปิดท้ายวันชมใบไม้แดงของเรา ถนนเล็กๆด้านหลังศาลเจ้าอิมามิยะ Imamiya shrine 「今宮神社」นั้นมีชื่อเสียงโด่งดังในเรื่องโมจิย่างสูตรเกียวโต หรือ Aburi mochi ที่ไม่ได้หาทานกันง่ายๆ แป้งโมจิเหนียวหนึบปั้นเป็นก้อนเล็กๆเสียบไม้ ราดด้วยซอสหวานสูตรพิเศษ ก่อนจะนำไปย่างเหมือนลูกชิ้นปิ้ง กินตอนอุ่นๆพร้อมกับชาเขียวร้อนๆ อื้มมม.. มันช่างหอมละมุนละเมียดละไมอะไรเช่นนี้
To really discover a place you need to put all your senses at work, and nobody better than someone local could guide my discovery of this beautiful country.
จบทริปเกียวโตอย่างบริบูรณ์ เราทั้งคู่ดื่มด่ำรสชาติอย่างเต็มที่ทั้งเรื่องอาหารการกินและวัฒนธรรม การที่มีคนท้องถิ่นพาเที่ยวก็ทำให้เราได้เห็นอีกมุมของเมืองนั้นๆ มุมที่ทำให้เรารู้ว่าแม้กระทั่งคนท้องถิ่นเองก็ยังชื่นชมกับบ้านเมืองและวัฒนธรรมของเขาเองมิใช่น้อย ทำให้ตระหนักได้ว่าในฐานะแขกผู้มาเยือนเราก็ควรเคารพและให้เกียรติกับทุกสถานที่ที่เราก้าวย่างไป เพราะบ้านเมืองใครใครก็รัก ว่าไหมคะ?
